In order to strengthen the management of cosmetic evaluation and approval, improve the evaluation and approval mechanism, standardize the evaluation and approval conducts and define the evaluation and approval responsibilities, the State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA) formulated the Opinions on Improving Cosmetic Evaluation and Approval Mechanism and issued the Opinions recently. The Opinions specifies the guiding concept, work objectives, evaluation and approval responsibilities, voting system of the evaluation experts committee, responsible body of the technical evaluation conclusion, feedback mechanism for technical evaluation, applicant defense system, management of evaluation and approval, and improving the responsibility system and the accountability system.
